The Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) exists to support and advance the interests of owner-managed moving and storage companies. We provide our members with leadership, motivation, research, education, programs of mutual benefit, consultation, and technical expertise.

Our programs and services are designed to strengthen members’ profitability, promote public safety, and ensure that consumers can access credible, professional moving services.

Join CAM

If you are a moving company, storage facility, or service provider within the moving industry, we invite you to consider becoming a member:

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of $50 (plus applicable provincial tax) must accompany all membership applications. Once we receive your application, CAM will issue an invoice. Processing will begin once payment is received. For approved applicants, this fee will be applied toward the membership fee. CAM may waive the application fee in certain cases.

Important Notes

Applicants may be required to submit various documents to complete the membership-approval process. 

  • Applications to CAM are subject to CAM's stringent certification process and should not be considered automatically approved.
  • Due to the nature of our organization, the vetting process for mover members takes at minimum four weeks as there are several tiers of review required.
  • All membership applications are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
